Pretty much like the numerous Knights walking around Prydwen. So like before you have a number of markers that are interlinked so when a settler is assigned to them they will patrol around, like normal guards, without putting away their weapon. The ability to set guard patrols would be nice. Had these meshes sitting in my Skyrim folder and I thought I port it over to Fallout 4 with a few tweaks. Meanwhile, the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) has a number of mods that continue to use it. Then came improvements in the form of the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE), which allowed modders to go beyond what the game normally allowed them to do. So say you decide to build a massive settlement where everyone has there own room/house or separate sector, like military in one section and civilian in another, they'll just wonder around there making it a bit more immersive as opposed to seeing everyone in the same vicinity doing random stuff and only having them go to their purposly built house at about 1am. When Fallout 4‘s Creation Kit initially released, a number of downloads tend to be wonky. The ability to place an invisible marker that, when a settler is assigned to it, they will just walk around in that vicinity.
So after playing for quite a while and using mod's that let you build infinity and have unlimited settlers I got quite bored going back and seeing nearly all my settlers in the same spot (Especially at the starlight drive-in) and Would like to request a mod to tell settlers where to roam about etc.
